The choice for extreme winter conditions

Svein Olav Landsverk drives his Scania R580 mainly on just one route from Odda to Oslo and back – about 350 kilometers one way. The route may remain the same, but the conditions change all the time.

“In extreme cases, the only road to Oslo can be closed because of the weather”, Svein Olav says. “Even though my truck would handle conditions much worse than that, I’ll just have to wait for the road to be opened to traffic again.”

“I wouldn’t use anything but proper winter tires, and up here it equals Nokian Tyres. I like them.”
